  • Tutorial 1: The LinGO Grammar Matrix: Rapid Grammar Development for Hypothesis Testing (presented by Emily Bender and Antske Fokkens)
In this tutorial, we will step through the process of Matrix-based grammar development, beginning with test suite construction and the creation of a starter grammar with the Grammar Matrix customization system (Bender et al 2002, 2010) and continuing with exploring and extending the starter grammars with the LKB grammar development environment (Copestake 2002).
The goals of this tutorial are to show participants how to get the most out of the customization system, and then how take the grammars further from there.
  • Tutorial 2: Prosody and Information Structure in Grammar: Evidence from French (presented by Claire Beyssade, Jean-Marie Marandin and Cristel Portes)
